Apprenticeships are a high quality way for young people to work, learn and earn. On 11th July 2011 young people in Year 8 and Year 9 can attend a series of activities designed to illustrate what happens on an Apprenticeship and to explain how to gain a place as an employed apprentice from age 16.
Local and national Apprenticeship training providers, along with employers and the National Apprenticeship Service will be there to talk to and to work with to get a feel for whether this might be the ideal route for you!
It’s possible to work as an Apprentice in a wide range of different subject areas including Business Administration, Engineering, Nursery Nursing, Catering or Hair and Beauty.
Come and have a go at an activity with training providers and find out more about how an Apprenticeship could open doors to your future.
